Example Trustee Conflicts of Interest Policy

Faith centre trustees must ensure that all decisions they take are in the organisation’s best interests and not their personal interests or the interests of anybody else they are associated with.

This example conflicts of interest policy sets out how trustees of faith centres can manage conflicts of interest and avoid decisions that are not in the best interests of the charity, or which are invalid or open to challenge.

Important: this example policy is provided as a template only. It should be updated/amended as necessary in line with the circumstances of your organisation, including any relevant specific legal/best practice requirements. It is provided as a Word document for this purpose.
