SFI began in 2016. We provide free or subsidised support to faith centres of all faiths in England to improve their governance.
This includes places of worship and religious supplementary schools
In particular, we aim to help those faiths centres who don’t have access to umbrella support.

Check your faith centre has the right policies and procedures with ongoing support
These include having proper safeguarding, recruitment and health and safety policies and procedures. Safer centres have access to a portal which provides key information, including when they need to update their training. See our Safer Centres here.
