SUMMARY:Basic Safeguarding for Faith Institutions
DESCRIPTION:The aim of this course is to develop an awareness of Safeguarding and Child Protection concerns within your faith institution and how to protect children from suffering any harm. \nBy the end of the course\, participants will \n• Understand the four categories of child abuse\n• Recognise signs of abuse in a child\n• To learn what to do should you notice signs of abuse in a child \nUpon completion\, participants will receive a full set of safeguarding policy templates and a certificate of attendance. \n\nJoin us on the first Wednesday of every month\n6 PM – 8 PM
